Mary is the founder and President of S.O.S., Incorporated a computer consulting/network/programming firm started in 1985 with its principal office located in Munson. Mary is a summa cum laude graduate of Kent State University and holds two degrees in Liberal Arts and certification in Computer Technology.

Mary has significant experience in analysis, design, and implementation of computer technology in businesses, schools, public entities, and industry. Mary has been instrumental in redesigning curriculum’s from elementary schools to state universities within Ohio around computer technology to institute an engaged learning environment, and seamless integration within the curriculum from elementary to college level.

In addition to maintaining a successful business, Mary served as Geauga County Commissioner (11 years, and former Munson Township Trustee for 9 years, Vice President of the Chagrin Valley Watershed Partners Inc (20 years), was a part-time instructor at Kent State University, has conducted seminars in computer technology at Cleveland State University, is past President of NOACA and serves as First VP on the Executive board, is on the Geauga County Planning Commission, the Kent State Geauga Advisory Board (15 years), and serves on the Board of Directors Geauga/Trumbull solid waste district, and Board of Directors, Portage/Geauga Joint Juvenile Detention, and former executive member of the Cleveland Arts and Culture Council. Mary is the 2007 Crane’s Women of Note, the 1998 National America’s Hometown Leadership Award winner, is an honorary member of the Mortar Board Society, Member of the OPWC District 7 Integrating Committee, Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities, Who’s Who in Executives and Professionals, and is included in the WomenSource Magazine.
